The Procurement Monitoring Bureau of Latvia, continuing the Publication Management System modernization project launched in 2023, which includes solutions for broader data usage by procurement authorities, policymakers, and the public, announces the release of a new procurement data visualization tool. The data visualization is available in the "Data Visualization" section of the Bureau’s website.
The visualization, powered by Power BI analytics, displays real-time public procurement data from various perspectives, providing anyone interested with free and clear access to up-to-date information on public procurement. The procurement data visualized spans from October 25, 2023, when the new standard notifications (eForms) were launched, in accordance with the European Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/1780 of 23 September 2019 establishing standard forms for the publication of notices in the field of public procurement and repealing Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1986.
We remind you that eForm data is also available on the Bureau’s website with an export function and in the contract register. For more extensive data analysis, we invite you to use open data available at open.iub.gov.lv (more information in the "Open Data" section of the website). The historical procurement data infographics are available in the "Infographics" subsection.
The data analytics tool and visualization were developed within the framework of the Bureau’s Publication Management System modernization project (to be completed by the end of 2024).
